World Artistic Gymnastics Championships 2025 – Jakarta, Indonesia

The World Artistic Gymnastics Championships 2025 was held at the Indonesia Arena in Jakarta, Indonesia, from October 19–25, 2025. This marked the first time Indonesia hosted the prestigious global gymnastics event, welcoming athletes from over 80 countries to compete for world titles and Olympic qualification points ahead of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.

Tumbling Gymnastics

Tumbling also belongs to gymnastics. It is also known as power tumbling. It is done on a 25-metre long tumbling track (standardised special equipment). Movements or elements done under Tumbling such as rolls, handspring, round-off, twists and back and front somersaults on floor rod. Under tumbling, gymnasts have to do eight tumbling elements or skills including twisting, somersaults along the ending with dismount skill. The dismounting element either be double or triple back somersault including twists movements. Popularly Tumbling is also known as the chain of artistic skills. Tumbling floor is a long, narrow, slightly elevated surface And it is 25 m long. Male and female both participate in tumbling gymnastics. Both perform two passes including eight elements.Tumbling gymnastics is one of the gymnastics disciplines, which is governed by the Federation Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG). Yet it is not a part of the Olympics games but, however it is one of the events for world games and world championships etc.

Olympic Games 2020, held from 23 July 2021 - 8 August 2021 in Tokyo, Japan. The 2020 Game will mark the second time that japan has hosted the Summer Olympic Games, the first being also in Tokyo in 1964, making this the first city in Asia to host the Summer Games twice. Overall, these will be the fourth Olympic Games to be held in Japan, which also hosted the two Winter Olympics. Gymnastics at the Olympics in Tokyo will be held in three different categories: artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and trampolining. All gymnastics categories will be staged at the Olympic Gymnastic Centre, Tokyo in 2021.

AEROBIC GYMNASTICS

In Aerobic International competition there are seven different categories such as: Individual Women, Individual Men, Mixed Pair, Trios, Group, Step and Dance . The competitive aerobic gymnastics are governed by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG).The all routine must be performed entirely to music. Aerobic Gymnastics combine elements of gymnastics into dance routine.

Performance under aerobic competition are scored in the following areas: artistry,dance, execution, difficulty, choreography and the judges panel determine the final score according to code of points.

Aerobic Gymnastics is the perfect sport for active people with energy to burn.Nowadays it is an important part of gym. Aerobic Gymnastics is an dynamic sport that is great for developing health and fitness. It include various elements groups like dynamic, strength, flexibility, balance and the ability to perform high flying jumps. The length  of all categories' routine lasts up to 1 minute 30 seconds.

Classification of Aerobic Gymnastics

Aerobic Gymnastics is classified into seven various events (last four are regardless of the Genders of the athletes) :-
